Re: 1/6th Scale Hobbits I will get these for sure. I still need to get a Bormir Exclusive though. As for the price hike hitting the SW line. Until they are close to the standard 150 SS charges for Medi SW figures people will always ***** that Medicom is more expensive and that SS is more worth it.

Re: 1/6th Scale Hobbits Nickels and dimes to me, you get what you pay for I always say! I would rather pay a little more for consistant quality because I only collect the best looking figures of my favorite characters anyway. I unlike most of the SS camp am not a line completist, nor do I collect many statues of PF's that they buy everyone of! But they sure do like to rub the price of Medi's in our faces when the RAH figures are of the same top quality as their $300 PF's!

Re: 1/6th Scale Hobbits these are up for preorder at forbiddenplanet for 32.99 in the UK. their usual SS 1/6 stuff goes for roughly 34.99. so i'm guessing the official sideshow prices won't be too different.
i had to order these because they look so good. gandalf only knows if they'll come out like this in production (remember how awesome the Aragorn proto looked - i thought it would be the best figure ever).
does anyone know if forbiddenplanet sends the 1st few orders of SS stuff as exclusive versions? i heard that somewhere.
