Re: SideShow GI Jooeeeeeee!!!!! I just finished my figure upgrade too. I got the narrow shoulder version, but I later decided to go with the regular TrueType.
I am confused looking at how you did the legs.
Mine had little plastic plugs in the shins that were glued in. I used some pliers and rotated them slightly and the poped out and could actually be inserted again if I wanted to.
Then all I had to do then was clip off the very end of the post on Snake Eyes boots, the part with the "mushroom". They then slide on perfectly with no modifications or tape and work like they were desinged for the body.
I also clipped the posts on the hands in the same way and they mount perfectly.
I will post some pictures later this afternoon and I will includes some shots of the Trooper too.

I'm still on the fence, the pics here def show he looks much better, but if I do SE, I'll want to do SS as well, which means I'll have to secure a couple more TT's as the four I have are already allocated & my figure budget is abt done for the year
Re: SideShow GI Jooeeeeeee!!!!! Here is a picture of all the changes I made to connect the hands and boots.
The body there is what a TrueType looks like out of the box. I pulled off the plugs on the bottom with plier and then clipped the ends of the post on the feet and hands. That's all it takes and it works perfectly.
Re: SideShow GI Jooeeeeeee!!!!! Sniper looks quite cool, but yeah, it does seem SS is starting to milk GI Joe with the two different Cobra Commanders, the officer, trooper and sniper figures. I'm really tempted to order sniper tho!
Btw, can the trooper's helmet come off, Grimlock, or is it molded on?
