My Cobra Trooper came today, it's pretty nice, looks a lot like Jin-Roh or German WWII officer. I also like the intense look he has.
Btw, the helmet does come off. I thought that was pretty cool.
The weapons are all good quality, though they feel quite delicate.
I like the hands, they are a bit softer plastic so it's easier to put the weapons into his hands. He also comes with a decent knife holding hand.
Some cons: The collar with the Cobra epaulets is a bit uneven. Also again, hips on mine are floppy loose; I'm not impressed at all with the Prometheus body.

Pistol, knife, and some of the grenades look familiar... looks as if they are the same ones that came with Snake Eyes but painted different colour.

Firefly looks great to me other than the goggles. They look really odd when he is wearing them since they don't fit the contours of his face.
Still, this is a "must-have" for me!

Firefly the Cobra Saboteur wasn't a prominent character in the cartoon, Finnsnake. I recently bought the entire 80's cartoon GI Joe on DVD series (along with Transformers) and I haven't seen him show up at all even after about 5 - 6 discs.
He showed up for 5 seconds on the GI Joe Resolute movie, he fires the missile into the UN building.
Firefly was mainly in the comic books and later I believe it was revealed he was linked with the Arashikage ninja clan (Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow's group) but it was so long ago I can't remember... but the main thing is that he had a wicked toy figure back in the day. It came with a backpack that could open up.

I grew up during the 1980's and this is one of the characters I remember most from GI Joe. My memory is foggy as to why I liked him so much, but I think I consider him to be almost a Boba Fett of GI Joe. Boba Fett wasn't exactly a major character in Star Wars, but he was damn cool. I think the same can be said of Firefly.
I never even had his action figure as a kid.

That's a great analogy, Grimlock! Firefly IS like the Boba Fett of Cobra!
I had the original figure, all of the GI Joe Sigma 6 ones, and a whole bunch of 25th Anniversary versions of this guy. I played the crap out of my original. Today, he lies in pieces, all the screws are rusted and the elastic o-ring has deteriorated, but I don't have the heart to chuck him. I will rebuild him one day!
