So far there's only one picture though isn't there? The one at the top of the page. It's hardly detailed, which is why I'm reserving judgement on this one at the moment.
It's about time SSC gave us some armoured figures and the fact the first two are Stormtrooper and Darth Vader is a real surprise as I'd have expected them to work up to those characters, not started the armoured figure releases with them. Brave choice.
I expect we'll get some more detailed pics over the next couple of days when SDCC starts, fingers crossed they'll look the business.

This will be the start, Sandtroopers might come as well sometimes. Anyway I'm going to keep all my Medicom RAH's, in fact I'm getting ROTS Vader right now.

just curious...have we found out how much this Vader will cost ? and the stormtrooper ?
Also is August 1st the date of when you can order ?

The thing I'd really like to know is how much input Sideshow actually had in the making of the armored figures.
Bearing in mind they couldn't even engineer decent base bodies without going to Hot Toys for help I wonder if Vader and the Stormie could actually be the first 1/6 Star Wars figures from Hot Toys albeit ones that will be sold under the SSC name?
$125 is a decent price IF it lives up to the hype but how many times in the past have they failed to deliver on great looking protos?

woah! big news. almost missed it trying to stay off the internet to avoid TDK news. vader looks good but something is kinda off. the stormies look awesome though, but I already have 2 of the medi ones which look just as good. will have to see about vader.
at least they're finally here though, right?
