That would make a very unique Clone Army! I'm really hoping this one tops the other 2 as it'll make my decision on which Indy to buy easier. How much difference in price is there between this and the PF?

Re: Takara New Cool Girls & Indiana Jones??? according to most people at SSF, it's supposed to be more expensive. but i have a feeling that this will be available for a comparable price on ebay. the PF does look great, but i'm a 1/6 junkie. and i'm hoping this tops the PF in everything but size.

I'd prefer a 1/6 figure over a statue too but if the Takara Indy doesn't look as good I'll probably get the PF as I just can't get enthused enough about the Medicom or SSC figs to want to buy them.

Re: Takara New Cool Girls & Indiana Jones??? wise thinking bcm. to be honest i think that PF is going to look absolutely incredible if initial pics are anything to go by. i'm OCD when it comes to uniformity in my collection - now i've got a considerable 1/6 collection i'll have to continue with it. but thank god i didn't start with statues. the PFs would have killed me. the indy PF looks much better than the cinemaquette so far.

Were the PF Indy made by one of the Asian companies I'd pre-order without hesitation but as it's SSC I'm highly reluctant to commit to anything until their production quality becomes significantly better on a consistent basis.

Re: Takara New Cool Girls & Indiana Jones??? yeah i understand fully. the fiasco with the stealth iron man comiquette really showed them up too. i actually had one of those rare babies on order, but cancelled at the first sign of trouble. their other marvel stuff seems very nice though, but i guess comic style sculpts are harder to screw up than the more realistic human ones. i wasn't too impressed with their robocop or their godfather.
i do have obi-wan and darth vader sitting temporarily on my table though - and they are pretty stunning. if indy turns out like them, i think it'll be a winner. i think aragorn might be a success too.

Re: Takara New Cool Girls & Indiana Jones??? well, my credit card did get a big turning down on this one. that's such a sucky policy it really is. some foreign cards were fraudulous hence all foreigners are dodgy and shouldn't be trusted. what a bunch of bull. anyway, i'm working on a work around. this figure will still be mine.
rakuten is also selling jack bauer season 5 figs for quite cheap and i want one!!!!!
all the freaks are quoting this as $400 because that's the official price but everywhere i've seen so far is selling for much less. i think any US distributors will probably be selling for around the $320 mark. still pretty expensive but significantly less than $400.
