Why do they call this a hybrid Optimus? Sorry, a bit ignorant about it, it does look nice though!
I'm not sure on this myself, maybe because it's a hybrid of a G1 design with the articulation and detail of a Masterpiece ( only smaller ) ?
I hope the rerelease does well enough for Takara to rerelease THS-01 Galaxy Convoy as well because the original regularly goes for £100 plus on ebay which is a bit much for such a small scale item!

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Series I sold off my remaining Star Wars busts a week or so back and have used the cash to order my Transformers Holy Grail which is Masterpiece Grimlock
Soooo looking forward to getting this as it can go with my Classics lineup or the unofficial smaller scaled MP Prime & Megatron that iGear are releasing.

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Series I finally got Grimlock yesterday and think the robot mode is awesome but I'm having trouble transforming it and was wondering if anyone can help?
I can't seem to get the legs folded right so that they form the rear/tail section and it's annoying as the rest of it seems so straightforward as it's pretty much identical to the G1 original.
I also got the Hasbro version of Skywarp from work using my staff discount and think he's pretty nice too!
