Re: Show off your HT figs here

Finaly found time to post my pictures of this figure!
I did 3 mods: the bottom of the neckpice at the front, I cut out a bit, cause it went to deep. I used a takara cape. And last, the cape-holders triangle pieces, I glued to the mask to make it look more accurate.
The final result is a much more movie-accurate ensemble for a figure that was already quite accurate emoticon

I kept the poses minimal in the spirit of what Nolan says: 'more is less' emoticon

(apolagies for the grainy picture quality)

to be very very honest: you've made those nice looking figures look ugly.

The colors are much to bright and almost makes them look like a campy version. You could say they played in Batman & Robin or something.

And batman looks too bulk some how, kinda reminds me of the shredder too. You gotta hide that bulk by making darker pictures.
The movie was dark, Batman was dark, Joker was even dark. It's the DARK knight...So why make it campy?

i'm sorry - i can't hold back anymore.

riko8 - you are a ****ing jerk. merry christmas.

eddie - those pics rock. you've shown me these figures in a new light, and i love them. some people are just plain rude and obnoxious and have no communication skills. some of "these" people, have already rubbed others on this board the wrong way. so please take no notice. your pics are ace. they're artistic (you've put a part of you in them, whatever that may be), and whatever that style is, it's better than just taking normal shots of a figure just standing on a dusty tv. so thanks!

Oh, hahahaha. No problem. People are entitled to express their own views. That is fine with me.

Personally, I think there are enough 'dark' and great pics of these Batman figures around. But no one has really taken HDR pics of them (not exactly for this kind of thing but still) - a technique that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes.

I do find it funny that I'm being told how to take pics emoticon

Rest assured, I'm already working on a gritty version (as mentioned on my blog).

Riko - sorry dude, but pls be polite & give constructive comments.

Eddie - I thought those pics are pretty well taken, I like how sharp it is, showing every single detail nicely. Hope to see more of your shots!
