Yup, its true.
It was stated in their recent Newsletter, a clever marketing strategy to attract ppl buy the Batpod.

Guys, both Batmobile & the Batpod are available already or not?? I saw this on Action-HQ, they stated the items are available, is this true??

Nope they are not available yet. The Batpod will supposedly be out in December (for HK). Batmobile in April of 2009.

Guys, good news, I read an announcement from my local hobby shop which is XL-shop that the batpod is going to be shipped next week, which means they are probably gonna be available really soon. I hope tomorrow they are out already!
