Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec It would have to be heavy duty picture wire (the brass stuff) and a wall hook you are confident could hold your body weight... let alone the Tumbler!
The thought of that thing crashing to the ground!!!!
Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec Actually I like the coffee table idea hehe...something like a transparent coffee table and you can place it in the middle, you also get to admire it everyday.
Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec I also have thought of displaying it on a turning table BUT it has to be a table with a diameter of about 30 inc...and I haven't found anything with that kind of diameter on the net...

LOL this is a big thing with measurements 73 x47 28 cm, if you hang it on a fish wire I predict desaster will happen.
Only an idiot would hang a collectible this big and this expensive with some fishwire..
But if you reaaaly GOT to hang it on the ceiling, why not use cables made of steel, also many people use this to hang a number of model plains on to their ceilings.
Much better and much more reliable.
I'm not sure if you are indirectly calling me an idiot.
We arent talking craft store hobby junk.
Fishing wire/line is a very broad term. And they can be made of many materials, including steel.
But even so, many of the most standard clear synthetic monofilament fishing lines can test up to 30lbs on a single strand. They can go up into the hundreds of pounds of force on some brands.
So assuming you hang your plastic car from your ceiling with a minimum of 3 strings (for stability) you will not have a problem.
I will promise you this car will be lighter than most medium sized fish.
I would be more worried about your ability to properly secure something to the drywall or concrete more so than a wire snapping.
Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec No need to call names my friends, there's better ways of expressing things and we always try and get along here at Mediworld! Everyone's cool!
Displaying the Tumbler in all its glory is going to be a challenge no doubt! The Tumbler is so expensive already, seems like more money will be needed to buy specialized display stand with an acrylic cover like in a gallery will be needed to display it properly.
