Can anyone confirm that the Tumbler's scale is accurate? From some angles it looks really good, but from others, it seems a tad small when juxtaposed with the 1/6 TDK Batman figure. There was only one shot in TDK that showed its size compared to Bruce's. I don't own Batman Begins, but for those who know the film inside and out, did HT get the Tumbler's proportion right?

who knows that? besides if you are in the movie industry and are aware of how hot toys scaled this thing down to 1/6.

But based on the pictures above (and many other pictures) it is quite clear that they got many exterior details right.
The profiles of the rear tires are something that are not 100% accurate, but rather than that I do not see something else that is way off..

It fits 1/6 figures perfectly, so it should also be perfect 1/6 scale. (not like the so called 1/18 scale model of the 1989 batmobile from Hot Wheels, that is not a true 1/18)

Why do you ask if I may ask?

emoticon Holster your six shooter, my friend; I come in peace. emoticon I was just wondering if people who own the vehicle, or those who don't and have to "eyeball" it from the pictures, were content with the accuracy of the size. I was leaving the floor open to any observations, such as your assessment of the rear tires, which was important to know and for which I am grateful. The Tumbler was a big project for HT to take on, and I think we can all agree that they did a fabulous job bringing it to life. But with the price tag being what it is, I merely wish to know if they truly made a gold medal product. Hence my asking about the scale, which is the strongest selling point to me. To this end, I greatly appreciate all input; after all, one of the biggest benefits of Medi World is being able to acquire a good sense of the products you hope to one day purchase thanks to the kind and generous insight of your fellow collectors. emoticon

and you can also see some (slightly though) white glue traces, especially in the interior.
And the glue itself is very visible at the area where the windows are attached in the interior.

So concerning details, the interior is definately the "weakest" part.
Although they also have nice dash details, you can see various 'radar' screens on the pictures that look very detailed indeed.

Overall, it's worth the money imo and can't wait to get mine emoticon

Thanks for the analysis! When you do get your Tumbler, do you think you could upload pictures? emoticon I would love to own this beauty, but I think it'll take one more batch of photos from various angles to swing me in favor of committing funds toward it. Collecting HT products is a real love-hate relationship for one's wallet. emoticon emoticon Thanks again for the input, Riko8!

UPS truck just pulled out.

First impression... this thing is huge. The box is the size of a small HDTV, like a 32" or maybe 37". Is heavy also.

I'm unpacking right now (and taking pics) I'll post as soon as I'm done.

OK.... here are the pics. The Tumbler is huge. It is 3 x 1 x 1/2 HT boxes.

You can't grasp the size of it until you have it in front of you. IT IS BIG. The rear tires are humongous. The batpod seems tiny when compared to the tumbler.

Answering my past question, the box is big, very big; and how to display it?... I don't know. I sure know that it doesn't fit in my bookcase where I have my other toys. It is either the floor or the wall (like a canvas).

Very impressive. This will make a perfect addition to the TDK 1/6 figures.

By the way, I haven't fully assembled it (you need to put a couple of parts to it), cause I am moving by the end of the month. So this baby goes straight to the box.

Here are the pics. Enjoy...

This part is loose, so you can sit Batman inside, and then position accordingly.

This is an ugly picture of the inside window, you can see the glue. The thing is that to get this picture, you really have to stick the camera inside the ****pit. So it is not easily viewable by normal means. From the outside it is pretty flawless.

Thanks so much for the great pics, Rarra! emoticon Any chance we might be able to see a shot of a 1/6 figure standing next to the Tumbler for a size comparison? emoticon
