Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec Yeh man, thanks darren!! You're really getting the leatest lately!
HT have won me back with the simple cowl change. Will be in scale and the biggest issue is, yes, so far Medi looks a lot better, but their proto to production difference is terrible, whereas HT actually look BETTER in hand.
HT for me!!

Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec I still like the medicom one best, but this one is a major improvement in my opinion - the original shots of this made him look atrociously fat - 10 times moreso than the batman begins version. He looke like Weird Al Yankoovic in the Fat video...

Tada...the improvised TDK suit from Hot Toys
Looks good but I can't get past the very visible grey on the chest. I would prefer a more muted version like on the Medicom. Still tempted to pull the trigger but I think I will wait to see some in hand pics.

Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec It bothers the heck out of me too! I don't know why HT would go this route, because the REAL suit is made the same why medicom made it!
Re: Hot Toys-TDK-Tumbler-Batpod and new suit-pics and full spec Rubber pants doesn't bother me much, as long as its done right and looks good. When rubber parts glued on fabric pants, they do tend to tear or pops off very easily. Even teh Kamen Rider DX chest pieces don't stick too well when there is barely any articulation on the chest. So while it may seem a good idea, it might have drawbacks on durability. Curious to see how that turns out, versus HT's full rubber pants.
