Re: HT The Joker photo thread I dont have a camera, but really the mods are quite minor. I just replaced the shirt and tie. I think if I use the DC Direct tie I can get away with the Hot Toys shirt, but the stupid elastic band tie is just so CHEAP.
I love this figure but the use of velcro on the shirt and vest and the elastic tie it was just way too cheap. Sideshow uses elsatic ties on thier 50 dollar figures.
It would bug me less if this was standard for Hot Toys but they used buttons and a real tie on clark. Even the pants are velcro!

Well, I've exchanged my Joker, now he has a pair of lovely socks but.....
I still really really hate the velcro & that cheap tie. Not only that the neck is too thick, you can actually close the collar up like they did in those proto shots or like how anybody would wear a shirt fully buttoned when they are wearing a tie.
Another minor tragedy happened to my joker while I was trying to dress him properly.
The shirt he was wearing has those fake black buttons & one of them just pop off...
Seriously, they did such a good job on clark kent, nice tie, real buttons and shirts that could actually fit properly....
But why cant they do the same to the Joker???
Sorry to say this but seems like Hot Toys dropped the ball on the costume department.
Everything else bout the figure is still great though.
Re: HT The Joker photo thread I hope that the up comming Bank Robber Joker doesnt have the crappy velcro. Hopefully hot toys learns that most people dont like the way they did the costuming. I'd expect this kind of crap from DC Direct or Hasrbo but not Hot Toys, even Sideshow doesnt use velcro!
As for the shirt it should have 4 buttons starting down from the collar then a space then 2 more. If yours has that many none are missing.

heres some pics for a clearer picture, would appreciate any ideas on how to stick the button back...I dont think glue is a gd idea here.
