I was hoping that HT would use material like the Medicom version but apparently, as someone already said, Hot Toys likes their rubber possibly a little too much.

Yeah, it just feels you're getting new heads. Granted it looks a great figure. It just feels a shrunken down chest and torso apart from that. They couldn't even add carbon kevlar weave to the abs/knees/legs and ribs to match the chest but they cheap out with the same tacky silvery paint.
Though you have to admit the accessories are stunning. As well as the possibilities for photos and pers is endless.

Always tough to know what's around the corner... still, gotta love Hot Toys for at least releasing this guy! I also wonder, would we be more happy if another company released this version? At least this one doesn't seem to come with any Bruce Wayne heads and so there's value with both TDK sets.
Re: Hot Toys - MMS DX 02 - TDK- BATMAN full spec and pics i do believe one of the major reasons not to release a bruce wayne headsculpt was because TDK and batman begins' wayne's heads were relatively similiar, apart from minor tweaking....hence another bruce wayne head, if not completely resculpted would be rather redundant...
i would be glad though if they actually made a bruce wayne headsculpt with a totally different hairsculpt...perhaps a fuller head of hair wavy and all...
