Re: HT announces Blade II license as long as we finally get a movie blade i'm happy. i reaaaaally hope they do the donnie yen character too. other than that, i'd have preferred a frost to go with blade. luke goss made a cool bad guy, but the first movie for me will always be the best one - the one i can watch over and over.
Re: HT announces Blade II license If HT makes one of the goggled ninjas From Blade 2, then that might distract me from feeling bad that they're not yet making a figure of Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King from Trinity. I'm crossing my fingers for the future...
i liked blade 2, but i thought blade 1 was one of the coolest films i'd seen when i first saw it at the cinema. i like the actual blade characterization better in the first, and thought the movie had a better flow. it also had a uniqueness which i think was lost in the sequels. i'm a big fan of the cinematography and colour palette they used in 1 compared to 2 as well, as well as the solitary and darker tone the story had.
but that's what's quite unusual about the blade trilogy i think. usually there is a clear favourite or best film. with blade, everyone seems to like and hate different parts in the trilogy. they all seemed to have parts that appealed to different peeps.
i have to admit though, nomak has probably been the best villain of all 3. luke goss' acting was really impressive. i really didn't know what to think when i first heard half of Bros would be in a marvel movie.
when i saw blade 3, i remember quite liking it. then i saw it again and realised that actually i didn't like it very much at all. blade just seemed like a big jerk - like someone who'd been evading taxes for years.
Re: HT announces Blade II license At least we both agree on 1 thing, Blade 3 sucks!
I never saw Blade I & II in the cinemas, only on dvds...I was looking forward to Blade III and when I finally saw it in the cinema, I was extremely disappointed.
They should disregard that Blade III ever happened and make a real Blade III movie.
