To start off part 2 with a bang, Shaun just found the newest figures by Hasbro: Punisher and Dr. Doom.

Yeah not too fond of that Punisher, I really really like that Dr Doom though, in fact it might be that I end up picking one up for my collection.

Unless of course Medicom announce a figure in conjunction with the release of Fantastic Four 2, they could end up making Doom as well

We'll see, I'm in no rush emoticon

I wonder why Medicom hasn't announced a F4 figure yet?

Medicom would knock FF figures outta the park! I would be torn on picking up one or two of those as well. emoticon

It does seem weird, maybe it's a rights thing but I'm hoping that around the time the movie is released SSC might spring a preorder on us.

I wouldn't really be interested in the Fan Four themselves but a Silver Surfer figure or better yet a Doom figure would be great.

Ideal fodder for Medicom as well since they know how to make quality armoured figures, fingers crossed on a surprise announcement.

Does anybody know where I can score a Spidey Icons figure in the UK?. A few places had em up for pre-order ages ago but then they all just dissapeared. Seem to be rarer than rocking horse s**t this side of the pond!

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2

I finally got Icons Doom today. I was surprised at how big he is... the photos I've seen of him didn't really convey that. I think it's a pretty nice figure for $20 (my favourite Icon so far) but it sure could use a few more points of articulation.

Has anyone seen a custom Doom that replaces the plastic / rubber tunic with cloth? I'm thinking of trying this but I've never customized anything in my life. Doom would benefit from a nicer material for his cape and hood too. His armour could be the basis of a figure that could stand proudly with my Medicom and Hot Toys figures. I'd also like to replace his belt, holster and gun.

Cool pick up Cheeks. I got Punisher the other day and love'em but sadly Doom was gone. I had been thinking about doing that to my Icon Doom as well as you suggested but like you me and customizing don't really mix.
