I think the first wave hits this winter. Then followed by wave 2 in spring 08.

Re: Mattel DC Universe Line I'm more intrested in wave 2 then wave 1. I like that they are using some obsucre characters and all but I would have prefered a better opening wave. Red Tornado just got 2 figures this YEAR from DCD. One from the Justice Line the other from the JLOFA line. I would have liked to have seen Flash in the first wave. He doesnt have that many figures. Wave 2 I have no real problems with.

Re: Mattel DC Universe Line Yeah I'm more excited about the characters they're using in wave 2, maybe they made wave 1 so diverse to illustrate to fans that any character can be made now.

Re: Mattel DC Universe Line Yeah but three diverse figures in a line of five isn't too bad, guess they've got to keep some things fairly mainstream for the casual fans.
The general public hasn't had much exposure to Orion, Red Tornado etc but would probably recognise Penguin and Batman immediately.
I guess it's finding a balance.
I'm really pleased with this new line and am looking forward to a Flash figure as well, we especially need one now there's a Gorilla Grodd BAF in wave 2.

Re: Mattel DC Universe Line They said there will be 5 waves I dont know if they meant 1 wave this year and then 4 next year meaning that they have 5 waves planned. Or they will only be making 5 waves. I would assume its 5 planned so far.
