Good to hear he's worth having BCM, I must admit I was impressed with the second Tennant headsculpt on The Doctor In Spacesuit figure as well.

Sorry I really should've closed this topic in my Mod capacity when we reached page 25, just forgot, I'm useless, you can sack me now emoticon

I think the human likenesses haven't been as consistent as the aliens but the best ones (8th & 9th Doctors & Doctor Meldrew) are awesome and if Character Options can reach the same standards with the classic Doctor sculpts I'll be very happy indeed.

Doctor Meldrew "I don't believe it" emoticon

Yeah I agree the human likenesses haven't all been perfect, but David Tennant's and Dr Constantine's both appear to be above par for mass market figures.

The recent Martha Jones figure had a pretty good likeness, if not a great one, but the Rose and Captain Jack figures were pretty bad.

To be fair though, the Rose figure was made in the early days of the license so maybe it took them a while to hit their stride with this stuff.

Re: Doctor Who figures

Whilst looking at a boxed 12" Judoon Captain on ebay I noticed that it has a removable helmet included which is an excellent suprise. If Character Options can do armor and properly removable helmets on a £19.99 mass market figure then SSC have no excuse. Going back to the likenesses I agree about Jack & the first Rose being bad,Martha was much better than the pics showed too. Mickey & the 2nd Rose were a bit so so,but with all the great stuff they've done I think Character Options can be allowed the odd lapse here & there especially with them being mass market figures aimed primarily at kids.

Didn't know that about the 1/6 scale Judoon, another example of Character Options going above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to quality.

Always nice to see new pics of Martha emoticon
I only saw a couple of episodes of the first series of Torchwood and wasn't that impressed to be honest but I'll give the second series a go to see if it's any better.
