Blade of the Immortal - Manji figure - Damn, I just missed it! (and other 1/6 Grails)
Thought I'd just do a random search on some of my holy grails from the past and BAM!
Damn, I just missed it by a couple of weeks!

Btw, does anyone here actually own this figure and can comment on whether it's any good (e.g. worth the $$$)?

my,315 is actually a pretty good price for that fig,even more so now as you can get the full complement of his weapons with the 1/6 scale blade of the immortal weapon set that was produced by boford

So do you know if that is the full collection of the extra weapons? So cool...
I used to love the BotI manga, and still buy the Dark Horse editions, but I have only thumbed thru the last 5 or so volumes without reading them... I have no idea what the storyline is right now.
I haven't found any online pics or reviews of the Manji figure, so I don't know if I could bring myself to spend that kind of money on him anyway.

yup more or less it covers most of the weapons manji uses and even have some of the other characters weapons

Damn, another holy grail... priced just a bit too high (by about $50) and also I don't know if the seller will ship to Canada... ah well, maybe next time.
Alfrex's Lone Wolf & Cub figure
Anyone here own this figure? How is the quality of the body & HS (I know the accessories are excellent)?

i have this pc as i collect alfrex stuff,fig head sculpt and accessories are top notch,by the way,the figure is based on the movie version and not the manga comic version. wouldnt consider this to be a holy grail of the alfrex series,to me it has to be the seven samurai set or the 3 akakage(red shadow) ninjas which i had spent quite some time looking for until i got them last year.

I have all the manga (by Dark Horse) and all six movies. I'd be happy to own figure of either versions (but only one). Which is the better?
How is the Alfrex & Megahouse body, btw? Do they stand up well, or loose joints & ankles? I hate when my figs topple over... Thanks in advance!

Just picked up one of my holy grails, the Alfrex Toshiro Mifune figure. The articulation is pretty good, joints are a little loose. I'd like to see if I could get the head onto a HT true type body for the extra hands and stiffer joints. Anyone know if that's possible?
