Torchwood Action Figures

Thought this deserved a seperate thread to the Doctor Who action figure one, but pics from the new Torchwood action figures have emerged on Forbidden Planet's site. Both the Cyberwoman and Weevil look great, although they could've added a bit more detail on the Weevil.

Both look OK but I'm more intrested in seeing how the humans turn out.
Captain Jack's newest Character Options sculpt isn't particularly great so maybe this one will be better.
I hope the TW figures do well enough for a second wave as I might then get a figure of Toshiko.

I'd expect we'll at least end up getting the entire team.

Other things that might show up would be Captain John, Grey, The Blowfish alien, Reece (depending how extensive the line gets).

Maybe the characters from the old film reel that were going around killing people in that episode towards the end of series two.

Do you think the Owen figure will come with a voice chip containing all his whinging about being dead? emoticon

There's an image of the Gwen figure surfaced on Doctor Who Toys, it's not that great but at least we've a rough idea what to expect for a Jack figure.

Of the 3 shown so far I like the Cyberwoman best,I think the Weevil looks unfinished and Gwen is fairly average.
If Captain Jack turns out better than the Character Options one I'll get that but I won't bother with the others.

Yeah something about the Weevil seems off, it needs more detail adding to the face and the costume shades all wrong, not bad but could be better.

The Cyberwoman is a great figure but if the core team don't look up to scratch and they can't even make the other monsters right (something that's alot easier to do than getting a good human likeness) I won't bother, Cyberwoman's no good on her own.

The other thing about the Weevil is it doesn't appear to have any articulation so I think that pic is probably the initial sculpt.

Here's a link to the first pic of Captain Jack,

http://www.doctorwhotoys.net/torchwoodcaptainjackcopy.jpg

The likeness of John Barrowman looks way better than the Character Options sculpts to me and providing the ostrich neck disappears and elbow articulation is added to the final piece I'll be getting the TW version instead.
