Transformers Animated - by Hasbro

Most of these guys are really cool! They remind me of Xevoz, but with transformation properties.

Bumblebee... went to work on him with the Gundam marker & I modded his forearms so the blue stingers fit all the way in. Very easy to do. I like him much better now after the modifications.

Lockdown... I tried to mod his crab like wrists, but too hard to do without a Dremel. I may have to invest in one.

Prowl... my favourite! I swapped and reversed those gold vents on the side of his leg for better articulation.

Leaderclass Megatron... kinda meh imho, but that's only b/c all the others are so much cooler.

Nice pics Kaido,I want another Megatron to go with my Masterpiece and Henkei ones and I think the Leader Class Animated version will be the one I go for once it's out in the UK.
I also like the look of the Leader Class Bulkhead and think the forthcoming Ultra Magnus is one of the best original designs for any TF ever and makes a welcome change from all the white repaints of Prime.

Thanks Bcm!

Btw, I think both Bulkheads are great. I think the bigger one is better as it's more in scale, but it costs a lot more too ($20 more!). I have both, but haven't had a chance to open Leaderclass one yet. The Voyager one is a gem! Too bad he's so tiny.

I just opened Blackarachnia today and she's okay. Nice figure, but her hands aren't hidden in spider mode. Maybe pick her up last.

Great stuff Kaido! Do those transform as well, cause they look better than any Transformer I've ever seen in robot form!

Redwing, they sure do! The Megatron changes to a helicopter (with dual spinning blades), Bumblebee into a yellow police car, Lockdown is a muscle car, and Prowl changes to a super cool motorcycle. UNDICI has posted some pics of these guys in the Takara section.

There's three different TF lines out currently, there's a line that is based on the movie (the word Transformer looks metallic and rusty, like the movie's logo), there's the TF Universe line which was on hiatus for a year; that was my favorite line before. Now these pics are the TF Animated line, based on the cartoon seen on TV currently. They are more cartoony looking and lots of fun!

I scored a TF Animated Voyager Optimus Prime today, along with the three latest TF Universe figures, Tankor, Sunstreaker, and Prowl. Prime isn't bad, lots of neat little features, but the TF Universe Prime is still my favourite one. I found a built-in gimmick to make Prime's waist not so floppy.

Tankor's 2 vehicle modes are okay, but I love his robot mode, very poseable. Prowl looks fantastic in either mode. I haven't opened up Sunstreaker yet. emoticon emoticon emoticon

More great pics that are convincing me to get at least some of the Animated line.
Which Prime is best scaled to Leader Megatron?
