Bad Ebay Buyers/Sellers !!!

Post any bad Ebay Buyers and Sellers here. Try to include a reason as well.

Bad Ebay Buyers:

pyg18 - This lady is seriously crazy. Threatened me with legal actions for no reason. http://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19519

Bad Ebay Sellers:

agent-rock - this is Mini Rock's Ebay ID, multiple counts of stealing people's money and not sending the items to them.

Bad Seller Alert!
hotant

I was looking around for a DX V3 and stumbled across a 220 dx for 83.80 + 21.00 shipping. Now that isn't a bad price but it came with a best offer option so made an offer for 83.80 shipped.

I included this message along with the offer just so he doesn't get confused because the last time I did the exact same thing for my V3 The Next figure the seller agreed and infuriated because he didn't know what shipped meant.

Buyer message: 83.80 usd shipped. meaning 83.80 with no shipping. total amount = 83.80. I just thought I make it clear because last time someone accepted my offer they got mad because they didn't read clearly.

He declined my offer and responded with this:

Seller message: Your suggestion just make seller pay more FVF cause your offer include the shipping to the final value, anyone will get madded if accept this kind of "offer". Thanks anyway.

Ok, whatever he doesn't want to sell it to me shipped.. even though I don't know what the hell FVF means. But I still have intentions to buy it so I decided to make another offer for 70 + 20 shipping... but as soon as I hit that button.....
Unfortunately, this seller has decided that you are not permitted to place best offer on their listings. You may contact the seller via the Ask Seller Questions feature if you want additional details.

Please note: You may not use other eBay accounts to place best offer on this seller's listings. Doing so may result in your indefinite suspension from eBay.

HAH! I was pretty pissed... I make one offer he declines and decides to block me. Nevertheless I messaged him asking him why he blocked me. My message:

Hi, I was going to offer you 70 usd + the shipping. But it appears you have blocked me. Personally I'm bit a offended, if you were to decline my 70 + shipping I would've just bought it for the original price listed but now I feel belittled and a bit annoyed. If you had no intentions to review buyer's offers why put up the option anyway?

He responded a few hours later:
I block because of willing to deal with soemone who do know how to say "thank you" in the last.
Thank you for your attention.
Take care.

What the hell? I really can't make out what this guy is trying to say? But I think he's saying I have a problem with my etiquette. I honestly don't know what I said to offend him prior to my message about why I got blocked. So I finally just gave up and decided to write him a nasty message:

What the hell did you do to deserve a thank you? I'm glad I didn't buy from you because you definitely have a few issues you need to work out. First and foremost your communication skills, you are lacking in vocabulary and I can hardly understand you. The second thing that bug me is how you put up the option for best offers and after someone makes one thats not to your liking you block them from making another one. Third you are the one thats suppose to be polite and proper I am the buyer you are making money off of me. You're a joke you can't expect someone to thank you if you have done absolutely nothing to deserve it.

his response:
By seeing the respond that you just sent. I feel glad to do the block.
Please leave me alone and bye.

Wow! all of those messages and I didn't even buy it from him yet. This guy is a jackass. I'm glad I got to know what kind of person he is before I bought it off him. I'd rather buy the figure for a lot more from other sellers than deal with someone like him again. I buy a lot of stuff on ebay constantly and I never encountered someone like this guy. Whatever happened to customer service? It wasn't like I'm a new user on ebay with negative or 0 feedback. I have 100% feedback at 101 and growing.

So yeah to you ebayers who don't want to deal with someone difficult I recommend staying away from this guy. His auctions are a few dollars cheaper than other Hong Kong sellers but it's not worth the trouble.

Re: Bad Ebay Buyers/Sellers !!!

Alright guys if you're an international buyer meaning you don't reside in the United States don't buy from a user by the name of auntieemsantiques. He resides in Ashland Pa, United States. And his name is Michael Cheslock.

I won a HT Cannibal Jack for 113 usd off this guy and paid him promptly. After paying him I messaged him and requested for him to mark my figure as a gift and at low cost as favor for me since customs usually charge hefty in Canada.

He respond 3 days later saying that he won't commit fraud for me and that if this is a problem he will refund my money in full. I've used ebay for more than 3 years and never had any seller disagree about this method but it wasn't a problem for me so I explained my situation to him and told him that it was more or less a favor for me and that if he didn't want to it would be fine.

2 days later he refunded my money in full and told me he won't ship to unconfirmed addresses... wtf. I've been using the same address since I registered with ebay and paypal. Even on my transaction details it's listed in bold green letters stating that it's a verified address. I sent a few emails to him asking if there was a mistake and no surprise at all he didn't respond.

A week past since I won the auction. He fails a non paying item dispute on me. When I replied to tell my end of the story he closed off communication and placed a strike on my account! I tried appealing the strike but eBay will do no justice for me. I provided a receipt but eBay just sent back a computer automated message stating that the user is the only one who can lift the strike.

I still tried to contact this guy and he replied a few times with intentions to help me. When we almost reached a conclusion he stop communicating for a few days when he finally replied he told me not to email him or call his residence because I was harassing him.

I have no idea what I did wrong. This guy is a total cynic over selling internationally. He appears to have great over feedback.

Just a warning.

LOL. I've only had one bad dealing with an eBay Seller.

The guy wouldn't send me my Medicom Red/Blue Spidey 3.

So after almost 2 months I emailed him to ask what's up and he says something like "If you hassle me again about the figure - I will sue you for harrassment.

Never heard from him again and then a week later - he is listed as "No longer a registered eBay Seller".

Unbelievable.

Re: Bad Ebay Buyers/Sellers !!!

thanks mywii - yeah its really frustrating. i've tried both ebay and paypal and they say they can't help because the items are too old. they just keep telling me to keep trying to resolve the issue with the seller, which of course is dumb because my whole complaint is that i can't get in touch with him to do that. these ebay guys man. i even sent a complaint about paypal and they sent me the same stock response. i think my best bet is to raise awareness about him.
