Yeeah! Love Jemaine & Brett from Flight of the Conchords, but I think my fave character may be Murray their manager.

This is one of my favorite FotC songs:

:rofl classic. funny but also brings a genuine tear to my eye, that nobody touched jermaine's casserole, and he looks like a prize asshole.

watched shinobi last night. it was like a cross between romeo and juliet, x-men, mortal kombat and ninja scroll. interesting, but could have been longer, with a lot more character development. cgi looked a little dated, but the fight scenes were generally quite fun. at least there wasn't as much CGI as goemon. but goemon was a rush so it didn't really matter.

Hahaha, yeah, classic stuff with Flight of the Conchords! I love these underdogs.

So Goemon was good?

sorry for the slow reply kaido. didn't get a post notification email to this thread. they seem to be kinda erratic these days.

yeah, goemon was a blast. really enjoyable. i can see why some people disliked it coz of all the CGI and they might have a valid point. but even given that, it's just a fun movie. and the actors who played goemon and saizo were great. just look at it as another of those 300, sin city style CGI focus films and it should be OK.

watched ip man yesterday - one of the best movies i've seen all year. donnie yen is the bomb. probably my fave martial artist actor (after the legend of course).

Most of Ip Man is awesome and the sequel is being filmed. I think it's about 90% fiction tho... emoticon

Last season of Family Guy.... I'm still laughing. Had to see on Monday: On the waterfront, with Marlon Brando, in college.

Great movie, one of the best lines spoken in a movie... "You don't understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody instead of a bum, which is what I am."... I really liked this movie, I'll probably get it on blu.

Also Up and Monsters inc, might get them tomorrow, and Star Trek I think is next week. I hate that everything cool comes out this time of year...
