Last Time You Were Really Excited About A TV Show.....

When was the last time you saw a really OMG TV show, one that you instantly fell in love with from the first episode and couldn't stop talking about.

What was it and why?

Most recently for me, it would have to be Prison Break, a series I only discovered a few months ago by buying the DVD box set in the sale. Still I thought it was great and the over the top characters and twisting plot really kept my attention.

Other than that the last television show that had me addicted (and still does) was Doctor Who. I'd never watched the original series, but my wife had and when it came back in 2005 she told me to watch the first episode, even though I was sure it'd be too cheesy. Well it was cheesy, but I loved it anyway and have been addicted to it ever since.

you know jabba, i read just the title and instantly prison break came to mind. i'd seen heroes series 1 and a few series of 24 out of all the american shows, but the first episode of prison break just got me right from the start. i just love that show to pieces. i couldn't wait to see each next episode.

other than that, my name is earl had me hooked from the beginning (although series 3 is a real disappointment so far). and mighty boosh was fantastic, fresh and very exciting in the beginning before idiots started impersonating the lead characters in the street.
