Re: Last Time You Were Really Excited About A TV Show.....
I watched the new animated series Wolverine and the X-men. It wasn't bad. Maybe b/c it's the pilot, but action sequences were quite fluid and superbly animated.
It looks like the designs are based off of the live action movies and Joss Whedon's "The New X-Men," judging from the designs of Rogue, Logan, and Beast, but it's in its own alternate universe as Cyclops and Marvel Girl were alive.
Looks like the plot has the government capturing all mutants and it's up to Wolvie to get his act together and lead what's left of the X-men. Emma Frost looks to be in the team as well, from the opening creds, but it's just Beast and Logan thus far.
Worth checking it out if you like X-men.

Re: Last Time You Were Really Excited About A TV Show.....
Has this officially aired over in the states then?
It won't be on in the UK yet, but I might check out You Tube and see it early, that's how I watched all of season five of The Batman and season one of Spectacular Spider-Man.

Re: Last Time You Were Really Excited About A TV Show.....
It must already be aired in the USA as we wouldn't get it before.
It would probably be at the same time or a day or two before.

Doesn't appear to have hit You Tube (unless they've been **** hot and taken it down already) but I'll have to start keeping an eye out for it.

Re: Last Time You Were Really Excited About A TV Show.....
I'm looking forward to season 4 of Prison Break, I can't watch it on Sky though so I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD. Can't wait for season 7 of Twenty Four too.
At the minute Doctor Who is going through a year long break, we're only getting four feature length specials this year instead of a full series. The BBC have assured fans the show will be back for a full series in 2010, but that's still a long wait. Looking forward to it's return.

I've decided not to watch the remaining episodes of the RTD era and I'm hoping the 2 year break and regime change will ease my current disgust with the show as it's been one of the few things I watch that's not a repeat.
I'd also like to get into 24 but I'd really want to go back and watch all the previous series and I don't have the cash for all the DVD boxsets at present.
