Trip to Tunisia

Today I'm going to a 7 day's trip to Tunisia. I'll see you guys in 14th of March when I come back.

Arrived back to Romania. We lived in Sousse at the Karawan hotel in a room with a view at the Mediterranean sea:

The Roman Amphitheatre at El Jem:

The desert is all around us:

Troglodyte underground houses at Matmata:

Palm tree forest:

Hotel in the desert (Douz oasis):

Sunrise at the Chott el Jerid salt lake:

Chebika Oasis near Atlas mountains:

Desert and more desert (we came in Toyota Jeeps with really professional drivers):

The Star Wars movie set in the Tunisian desert (about 30 km from Tamerza oasis). Some pics below, more to come soon:

Nice pics Sergiu,glad you had a good time. I'm suprised the moisture vaporator is stil standing,I would have expected some "Jawas" to have spirited it away by now,either for their own collection or an ebay auction!

Thanks my friend! The vaporators are really huge and couldn't see any fan getting these on a plane or by the Tunisian customs...
