What's your budget? You could always get clearance Medicom figures from online stores, sometimes they go down as low as $50 depending on the character.

Woorwill,
You might find Punisher, Mutt Williams, Jack from Lost, etc. for cheaper than original retail. But for $30-$40, you're maybe better checking eBay from time to time to see if anyone is parting out their Medicom figures.
Or you could always buy a cheap figure, keep the body and sell off the hands and head, outfit, etc. but that's a bit of a hassle.

I might add that the thing is even a spare body is prone to breakage. My spare Kai Massive 301 broke recently and I had bought it for a reserve body for parts, swapping, etc., just like you are planning.

That sucks Kaido! I have a place in my basement for mine. Nobody ever goes in there. It's like a safe lol. Still though, I really hope that doesn't happen to me. Still, there's a Joker body on eBay right now that is going for only like $35 shipped! Trying to get that one.
