nah, blame it on Medicom's marketing tactics!
The only reason I can think of for not selling it as a set is because the bike is manufactured by Bandai & not Medicom.

On the other hand it's better news, as Bandai definitely has better & stricter QC and they have more experience in manufacturing electronic toys....I don't think Medicom ever did anything that has electronic functions.

Yeah, I was actually toying with that dilemma, too. *sigh* Oh well. I guess I'm going to have to give in to the high price tags, and start saving up. You make a great point about Bandai's manufacturing experience for the bike. The only thing I wish they had done is made the front triple tree liftable for mounting like it was in the film. With that addition, it would have been absolutely perfect. Bring on the decals! emoticon

ok, i just placed a preorder for this set. total price was ￥43,422. holy ****, that's a lot of money. but i'm hoping that the GBP isn't so bad around march time. so it won't hurt so much.

fat luck though - i think britain is about to sink into a financial mire.

anyway, 2 more added to the perpetually growing list of stuff emoticon
