GHOST Snake
Hey all, here is my latest custom work.
I call this one GHOST Snake. He is setup primarily for night ops and sneaking. I imagine him appearing from the shadows showing his skull face briefly before he takes the kill, then disappears again into the darkness. This also happens to be one of my favorite camo combos in the game MGS3.
For this custom I used all black ACE BDUs from the TMT SEAL CQB Exclusive set. The BDUs had to be altered to fit Snake, the ACE dimensions are fairly large. I resized the pant legs and waist to be smaller. Surprisingly the jacket fit pretty well, I carefully removed all the velcro patches and then I made the cuffs on the arms.
Primary and Secondary Weapons
GHOST Snake's primary and secondary weapons are the AK47 and the Dragonov SVD.

Sidearms
Snake is carrying a MK22 "Hush Puppy" and also a M1911A1.
I decided this version of Snake would be the one to wield the mighty Patriot! I have updated my Patriot custom with minor details, it is now 99.9% accurate to the game model. I found the exact right piece to make the custom cylinder hand guard. And I added a belt clip to the recoil tube, so the Patriot can be hung on the belt just like "The Boss" carried her Patriot. This is a small detail I notice when looking closely at the in game model.
I also updated both my MGS3 customs with fabric jungle boots from Toy Soldier. With the new fabric boots Snake can achieve some pretty dynamic poses with more ankle articulation.
Last, even though I have this Snake setup primarily for Stealth, you never know when the $#!? hits the fan. Snake is not afraid to bring out the heavy weapons. I equipped him with an RPG-7 and a modified Stoner 63 machine gun.
This is a Vietnam era MK23 Mod. 0. It is a more compact commando version of the Stoner 63 machine gun. This weapon was used by Navy SEALs of that time period.

Some new pics of BIG BOSS. I gave him some new boots and olive drab tape for his knife on the leg. Gave his XM16-E1 a proper colored sling and some double mags.
Next I want to do my version of Sons of Liberty Snake. If I could ever get a hold of a MGS3 Snake Head w/out eye patch, but that is not easy! I might also be customizing a MGS4 Snake, but I want to wait until the game comes out to see what type of variations there are. I already have a tan colored Vest rig for him.

I actually never understood why medicom went for the red square camo. I guess it's because it's Kojima's favorite...
Anyway, he looks much better all black!

By the way, could you please let us know what tan vest you are going to use for Old Snake?

Thanks guys. For Old Snake's tan vest I have a Hot Toys USMC MEF fig that I might try some of the parts on. I don't have Old Snake yet so I don't know if it will work or not. I'll let you guys know if it works out.

MGS3 - Snake Eater Armory
Here is a list I've made of all the weapons in the game (except 2). I made sure that the weapons are exactly like the game models. And yes I am a MGS3 nut. 
Ithaca M37 Shotgun.
This custom is made from Ultimate soldier police shotgun. I chopped the barrel and stock, repainted the stocks and weathered the stocks and gun. I also made the screws on the one side. And I added a lanyard hole and short sling.
Patriot Assault Pistol. Infinite Ammo.
XM16E1 Assault Rifle with silencer.
AK47 Assault Rifle.
Dragonov SVD Sniper Rifle.
M36 Stoner Machine Gun.
MK42 Mod.0 Commando Light Machine Gun.
This is a custom I made. This version is a special Vietnam era Navy SEAL model that is more compact.
RPG-7 Rocket Launcher.
M1911A1 with silencer and CQC Knife.
MK22 Hush Puppy with silencer.
Survival Knife.
KBar Knife.
Grenades.
