Host hotel is full
The host hotel is full at this point. You can keep trying to call and hope you can pick up a room that someone else cancels or you can try the nearby hotels. The closest two are the Days Inn on the left hand side of the Ashbury (facing the front door) and the Motel 6 on the right side.
In the past, the Motel 6 is cheaper but doesn't offer a breakfast, but did allow pets, while the Days Inn was a little more expensive, but had a continental breakfast and no pets.
The Days Inn is located at 3650 Airport Blvd, Mobile, AL 36608 and their phone number is 251/344-3410. They are undergoing some renovations now so I'm not sure what it is like at this point. I will try to stop in and check when I go visit the host hotel next week.
The Motel 6 is located at 400 W I-65 Service Rd S, Mobile, AL 36608 and their number is 251/343-8948.
Of course, the good thing about the area where the convention is located is that there are lots of restaurants and hotels within a short distance of the host hotel.

Please call the host hotel...I just got a double, non-smoking room for both nights. So there are still some openings!  yeah!

As people cancel reservations rooms will become available. For the most part the hotel is booked. Kepp trying if you want a room, maybe you will luck up and snatch one.
