This video is concerning the NewsPaper article that the Portsmouth Daily Times published in their hard copy newspaper and also in their online version of their newspaper following the Lee Scott incident on Market Street May 12th., 2008. It is addressing the Internet Groups that Charles Horner referred to in this article.
This video was recorded at the Horner hearing that was held at the Welcome Center on 24th., November 2008.
Attorney Kirsh is asking the questions and this is Ex Chief of police Charles Horner on the witness stand.

I will say this.. if you carefully watch and listen to this video.. that part about the "public official" coming into Mr Horners office.. breaking down and crying... Mr Horner told me that same exact story (plus more) over that cup of coffee I was talking about some time ago.
Missing key question to reveal deeper inner truths:
If the person asking Mr Horner those questions would have ask him how he and his family was attacked on the Internet... I am sure we would have seen a side that would no doubt show how this has tormented him to a point of breaking.
The sad part is.. most of us knew that he already snapped over the personal family oriented attacks... even the Mayor knew this caused him to snap...
yet.. what did "we" do? Either nothing at all... or a few just kept up the punishment.
If any of you can't see this all through Mr Horner's body language... then I got a good book for you to read to learn how.
Now don't get me wrong... this is no blind defense of Mr Horner... only of the issues pertaining to and surrounding "Internet Groups" is what is being expressed.
Again... this is pertaining to the "INTERNET GROUPS" aspect of it.

I happen to know from GOOD sources that the Mayor did try to do something. He suggested to Horner that he take time off and Horner refused.

I can't get my sound to work on the video. I have no idea what is being said but there were moments when I saw the same man that took our photos, set up a camera to film us. And from what I read, has tried to get fellow officers to lie about what transpired and when. You say the poor man snapped. LD maybe your right, but who made him do it? Why did he do it? This was his choice.

I don't get where you are coming from with this statement.
Kalb offered Horner time off because of the way Horner was acting and Horner refused. I don't know the entire conversation, but I was given the impression that Kalb knew Horner was stressed and this was his way of offering Horner time to get help or de-stressed.
Horner made the choice not to take Kalb up on the offer.

I never went after Horner untill he tried to make me lie for him.
The man was/is a dictator and deserves to be kicked out of his job. He has been purely dishonest not only to myself but to many others. He has abused his authority time after time.
If it was/is the internet groups that caused hin to snap....so be it. You reap what you sew. What caused him to snap was pure and simple....exsposure to what he really is/was.
Go ahead and defend this crook L.D....maybe he will thank you but I doubt it.

Reb.. yeah. I am right about what I've witnessed on this Internet over the years.
Why did Mr Horner do it and his choice? He cracked.. Like I said, there is no logic to it. Asking why he cracked is sort of illogical itself. He cracked over hearing the continual punishment issued out to him by a few on this Internet.
And now one of them a few replies down from yours has to open his mouth and claim I am defending Horner.
These are realistic Observaitions... pertaining the the "Internet Groups" aspect of it. Notice that I did not say the other aspects of it.
TAG... perhaps you have not been closely monitoring the Internet Groups airwares that long.

SCOTT.. you just had to open your cold-hearted mouth didn't you.
You are NOT telling the truth. You in fact went after Horner as far back as 2004. I saw in it these "Internet Groups".
It was YOU that was one of the primary people who taunted Horner over the years.
You would say just about anything you could get by with pertaiing to him and his son.. and even a few times his wife... as if she had any thing at all to do with it.
Go ahead.. tell us you dont remember.
You think in terms of either defending or being against someone. What I said is realisitic observation over the years.
And.. what I state has pertained ONLY to the "Internet Groups" aspect of it.
Just like Marty Mohr and that continous taunting you gave him over the "Tara" person... you dished daily doses of insults to Horner and his family. DAY AFTER DAY.. MONTH AFTER MONTH.
For someone like Tag.... they were most likely not around on these "Internet Groups" when you bombarded Horner.
Go Ahead.. tell us you did not do it.
