Re: Haas to replace Baughman
Another hard-to-take lesson in Continuing Adult Education
was given to Portsmouth citizens at the December 8th, 2008 City Council meeting.
Answer to Lee Scott: You know the players and you know who is running the game and taking a big cut of the pot on every hand. Yes, you are right, the citizens got screwed again, but no, everyone didn’t expect it. But they will next time.
But, it appeared that City Solicitor Mike Jones knew the outcome before the meeting. Jones seemed to be delighted to swear new member and fellow attorney John Haas into office as soon as the decision was announced. The smiling, happy solicitor had the necessary documents already prepared for John Haas. It may be that Solicitor Mike Jones had prepared documents for all three candidates. I don’t know, but he wasted no time in getting John Haas on board.
However, there were many, many trusting honest citizens who came to the council meeting expecting Councilmen Jerrold Albrecht, David Malone and Mike Mearan would give Portsmouth native Jane Murray top consideration as the most qualified candidate.
Jane Murray was the top choice of the 171 residents of the Fifth Ward who signed the petitions for her to remove Howard Baughman (Martings Foundation/Clay Johnson’s cousin) from the Fifth Ward council position.
Baughman as Councilman for eleven years did nothing. Nothing to alleviate the deadly flooding problems in the Grandview area while constantly promoting and voting for each and every plan and plot to enrich SOGP leader Clayton Johnson, who is also known as Martings Foundation, (Baughman, as councilman, was a major conspirator with Clayton Johnson in the Grand Theft of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) from the citizens of Portsmouth in the May 2002 Martings Building Swindle)
Howard Baughman leaves a legacy as being highly responsible for such notoriety and disgrace brought to the Martings building that the very word Martings has become a “hiss and a byword” and rekindles anger in honest citizens each time it is mentioned. To most residents of Portsmouth the name Martings has become anathema, devoted to evil, damned and accursed.
The citizens of the Fifth Ward (and the citizens of all the other wards) suffered from Baughman’s support of the racketeer SOGP/Clay Johnson gang by increased real estate taxes, theft of city funds and damages to their homes and health.
The flooding of homes with human manure, urine and hospital waste can be fatal. Many victims of the floodings have suffered serious crippling illnesses, and one lady who was seriously affected by repeated floodings became fatally sick. She was buried last December.
Jane Murray, who became aware of the poorly maintained sewer problems after her home was flooded with human waste in June 2008, was able to get the Ohio EPA and the Federal EPA investigators into Portsmouth where they interviewed city officials and held a public forum, a real forum, at Christ Community Church where citizens were permitted to speak freely. Jane Murray’s hard work resulted in plans being made to remedy this damaging and tragic situation. Investigation and assistance by EPA is continuing.
Jane Murray, with aid from fellow citizens, accomplished more in four months than Howard Baughman had done in eleven years.
Jane Murray knocked on doors, collected signatures on petitions from neighbors in the Fifth Ward to recall the do-nothing Howard Baughman.
Jane Murray worked diligently and intelligently on the flooding problems in the Grandview area caused by the neglected combined storm-sewer-sanitary sewer below the hospital on the hill, Residents of the Fifth Ward know and appreciate the efforts of Jane Murray and expected Jane Murray to represent them in Council after Baughman was recalled.
Recall petitions were passed, an election was scheduled for February ’09. Baughman was advised to resign for the good of the SOGP/Clay Johnson racketeering gang who must have control of city council if they are to continue to control the spending of city funds for benefit of the wealthy over privileged Clay Johnson/SOGP/Martings Foundation group.
The leaders of the gang knew Howard Baughman could not win an honest election. By resigning Baughman was able to stop the election and let the three SOGP controlled members of the council appoint a fourth SOGP associate to council. That is what happened. Clay Johnson/SOGP/Martings Foundation again has four council members to control city affairs and money.
Having attended council meetings and watched the SOGP racketeers control city council for over eleven years I was able to write and publish on the world-wide-web what happened at the council meeting last night on the day before the meeting.
The educational experience for the aggrieved citizens who believed they could trust City Councilmen David Malone, Jerrold Albrecht and Mike Mearan and learned better last night will not be forgotten.
They can now understand what we mean when we write that our Mayor, our Auditor, our Solicitor, four of the six councilmen do not serve you; they serve the elite, greedy racketeers headed up by Clay Johnson. Of the nine men in position of power in our council meetings, we, in our opinion, and in our honest knowledge find only two honest men, these are Bob Mollette and Rich Noel. Are the others all Clay Johnson/SOGP/Martings Foundation group puppets that have sold out their honor and their duty to the citizens for “pieces of silver?”

Re: Haas to replace Baughman
KMTE got an email today from a friend that informs me money missing around Adams was not the first time. Seems there was another event several years ago that is no longer came up short and both she and another person split town shortly there after. So if you have some proof put it up.

Re: Haas to replace Baughman
Russ is correct. We have been sold out at least three times and possibly four by people we trusted and placed in office with our work and votes. Mike Jones was one of them as was Tim, Marty and the other...I am just not totally convinced. Like to think he has done things or not done things out of ignorance as he is still my friend. As for Albrecht and Mike M...well, Mike is okay, he was an appointment and we all knew what he wanted and why he was there from day one...no surprises. Albrecht has always been just a yes man for the elite. He does not even have to know what he is voting on, he just goes along.
Yes I now have heard of Ms. Murray and I too want no surprises as this IS going to be the peoples/citizens year!
Mad as he!! and I am not going to take it anymore!

Re: Haas to replace Baughman
Lee, that is the right attitude.
Many believe they have a friend in City Hall. They may be your friend but without such friends in power positions in our Portsmouth government we all would be in better condition.
Our local unelected RICO racketeers, with the help of corrupted officials, have been robbing us for years. This evil has damaged, and is destroying our city; it must be dealt with.
The game is the same. The top RICO man is Clay Johnson and he is a thief; true he is an uncommon thief, but still nothing but a thief accompanied and aided by other thieves.
He steals millions and is still at it. Remember Clay still has our two million dollars he stole in the Martings Swindle in May 2002 and also owes us interest on the money for six years plus.
The people in power in the city government that aid Clay Johnson in his RICO depredations are also lying thieves.
They are evil; without such immoral, greedy, unconscionable officials doing RICO Johnson's bidding his power to continue to abuse, over-tax and rob the good citizens of this decadent would cease.
"It must be dealt with."

Re: Haas to replace Baughman
I wonder how much Haas paid for that appointment?
Also notice Terry Ockermans new Tenants.
The VA Administration has rented the first floor of the newly remodeled Heilig Meyers building..
I wonder how he got that Contract?
Does he still have an interest in the Columbia Music Hall?
