Amazing how much wildlfe is in your garden....
I live not far from the town centre. I've just put a very small pond in my (very small ) garden and within 2 days, I spotted a newt in it. A few days later, a frog arrived. The frogs still there, but the waters a bit murky now so I can see the newt. I've also seen small red dragonflies flying over, laying eggs in the water.
I never knew any of this was around before. The frogs usually in the water, but this morning I jumped  when I spotted it on the grass, just 6" away when I was feeding the fish.
