How to make a long webpage link shorter
The problem with long webpage links (URLs) is that they can distort a forum page, making it too wide to fit on the screen.
It is easy to shorten a link, so the URL fits neatly on a page. 'tinyURL' lets you do this for free!
Go to http://tinyurl.com (there is no www!)
Follow the simple instructions they give you.
Basically, you copy your long URL and paste it in the box on tinyURL. It automatically creates a short URL for you. Copy this and paste it on the forum page. Now everyone can view your page and link without distortion.
