How to add an image to your user name
Firstly, you need to become a member of a photo sharing website. http://www.muchos.co.uk and http://www.photobucket.com are good. Register for an account with one of them. You are now ready to upload the image.
These instructions are for muchos. Photobucket works in a similar way.
Open your muchos account. Click on 'image upload'. Click on 'browse'. Click the photo you wish to use, then 'click here to upload'.
Click 'show message board codes for this image'. Copy 'UBB code without link to muchos'. With photobucket, you can use the http code.
At the top of the page, click on 'control panel'.
Click 'change miscellaneous options'
Paste the code for your image into the box opposite 'Avatar 60x60 pixels image URL(optional)'
At the bottom of the page click 'Save your settings'.
The image will now appear as an avatar beside your user name.
Avatar size is restricted to 60x60 pixels.
