Squealing noise from engine bay, under bonnet
There's a squealing noise from ‘somewhere under the bonnet.’ Here're a few possibilities:
1. Perished and/or hardened bonnet seal.
2. Auxiliary belt loose.
3. Wastegate stuck.
4. Air hose split or loose.
5. Waterpump worn.
6. Exhaust / Inlet manifold gasket split.
7. Loose, broken or missing manifold bolt.
8. Gasket between the engine block and the air-intake manifold split.
9. Head gasket gone between 2 cylinders.
10. Next doors cat is trapped in there.
