Hello newbie
Hi all just signed up and would like to say hello. Question does my 1992 2.5TD have a EGR? was reading other topics and wounded if mine has one and where would it be! many thanks.PS Go easy with me I'm new to shogun's and saying that very impressed had mine two weeks now

Hello Tasy and welcome to the forum.
As far as I know, Shoguns do have EGR's, but sorry, I'm not sure where they are.
On the Pajero, you look at the lefthand side of the engine and see the inlet manifold, with a a 'flying saucer' or 'mushroom' shaped unit bolted to it. This unit is the EGR and will have a rubber/meshed vacuum pipe attached, and a metal pipe going from it to the turbo manifold. It should be a similar setup on the Shogun and whereas they're commonly blanked on the Pajero, this isn't so commonly done on the Shogun. For either vehicle, it's usually blanked only if there are problems that cleaning doesn't cure. You'll find a bit more info about them HERE
