51 plate shogun did , loads of smoke
Hi folks , I've just joined as my mate is having problems with his mitsubishi shogun 51 plate di-d .
He had to change the injector pump and its been ok for about 2 month now , Now when its started there is loads of grey/black smoke coming out of it and a sort of ticking/clanking noise from the top of engine ( i think ) . He has changed the turbo , A new valve ( not sure of its name )on top of the air intake towards the front ( not the egr valve ) And also blocked of the egr valve and there's still no difference to the clouds of smoke coming out of it , And when i say smoke i mean i've never seen so much come out of a motor before this .
Any help or advice on things to check would be great or if anyone has had this problem and cured it.
