new member questions???
hi all, i have just purchased a 01 lwb shogun 3.2d 5spd which i am very impressed with, [after trying a 03 disco and a 01 r rover] primerily bought to tow our new 1600kg caravan.
i have a haynes man for it [although it comes with history and has done 70k miles] and on reading the servicing it states the diffs/transfer and g/box oil should be changed every 9k too, i am going to give it an oil/filter-air filt and fuel filt just for peace of mind, but the question is should the other oils be changed so often?? 9k? also does anyone have a service schedule for the vehcile, i got no joy from my local mitsubishi dealer when i asked for one

Hello and welcome Hammie. There's a 2001 Shogun service manual for sale on EBay. It's the Peter Russek pocket mechanic one, so may be avaialable elsewhere also.

cheers mate, just got one, still v impressed with truck, surprisingly fast for what it is too, just looking to upgrade the ugly standard alloys now
