Yeah, I love swapping stories with friends. It's a great way to get a little useful feedback and a lot of moral support. I've a friend who I swap stories with via email -- we don't write on the same time scales, so I "group" wouldn't work as well as it does for you -- and it really helps both of us. Plus it gives us something to talk about at lunch, if no one else shows up!

My friends don't write on the same timescale as me. Most of the time we're a talking about things group.
One of them brought in a half done chapter last week because we'd been bugging him for something for months.
It's very casual and fairly random and as much socialising as anything else.
