Fantastic! Four! or Five!
Yes, four (or five) chapters until my novel is finished.
Well, this draft, anyway.
It needs revision.
Anyway:
Title: The Guns of Pleasure and Death
Word count: wp 60k, ny 80k.
Chapters: about forty four.
Plot: a retired adventurer comes back to face the threat she first encountered when she was 16, 56 years earlier. The only way she can defeat it is by committing an act so evil it will damn her and several hundred other people for eternity. She faces the choice of damning a lot of people, or letting an evil God-like being run loose upon the earth.
Setting: the Amazon, 1854; London, 1912.
With a full cast of clockwork robots, vampires, kings, demons, angels, ancient Incans, curses, sorcerers, high priests, scientists, soldiers and more.
Eventually I'll be hoping someone will read it (after the revisions) so if you get excited reading this teaser let me know

Sounds interesting. And your cast sounds... intriguing. I'd be willing to beta it for you when you're done. Though I'll warn you that I might be slow with it, thanks to my stupid dissertation and the laziness it's bringing forth in me!

Just sorting the chapter numbers, which are wrong. My chapter numbers are always wrong! Bah! Stupid numbers...
