I wrote, but it was half of an article on long term care insurance policies. My brain melted out of my ears by the time I stopped... emoticon

Writing is writing. emoticon I'm sorry your brain melted from it, though.

This morning, I wrote 856 words for the 5th chapter of my YA novel. emoticon

Today, I managed to sit down right after breakfast and write in the half-hour I had before having to go to work.

I got a good 500 words in that half-hour, and I'm quite proud of it. emoticon

I'm two days into Chapter 6, writing after breakfast. Today was rough, as I had a little argument with my darling during breakfast, and it was hard to concentrate. Still, I wrote almost 400 words, and feel quite professional.

Finished chapter 8, on a rather different note than expected. The story deviated a bit from the chapter plan, but that's ok. I can bringthe plot back to the line with little effort.

I'm into chapter 9 by now. emoticon

Started Chapter 10 this morning, with a change in POV. That wasn't planned, either, but seemed the best way to carry over as I knocked out Kiera at the end of Chapter 9.

I wrote four pages today. Maybe I'll write more when I get home tonight. Only two or three chapters left until my first draft is complete.

The best part about today was that I found something out about my Main Character's sidekick that caught even me for a surprise. It'll be a major sideplot for later books.

Great work, Naca!

I love it when something like that happens. I hope you like the sidekick enough to bring on all those subplots!

I wrote 500 words in my Christian/Romance/Disaster novel today and only 1 paragraph in my Fantasy. I can't get that darn girl to say anything intelligible. Ohhh, maybe...she should just be babbling nonsense. I'll try that.

I wrote today. I did not want to write today. I take a medication every Wednesday for Lupus and it has annoying side effects. I have been worried about money and the weather is playing havoc with my arthritis. emoticon I had a bad case of "Idawanna".
But, I sat down in front of the computer keybord and just started typing. I figured something might be worth salvaging when I felt better. The more I wrote, the better I felt. Fancy that! I wrote almost 400 not half-bad words and I'm not depressed anymore. emoticon

I've been writing quite regularly lately on my laptop, but I've been using wordpad, which gives me no indication what so ever of hows much I've written. No wordcount, no page borders, no margins. In one way I kind of like it, in another it's somewhat annoying.

I need to get OpenOffice it seems.

"Scu ba du but dway, scu scu ba du but dwi..." he greeted.
"I'm sorry?" asked the girl.
"Da ga but du d-"
"Don't listen to him, Alice," ordered her mother.
"What's wrong with him?"

I'm still writing my Unicorn story, reached chapter 14 now. And I'm full of ideas for my NaNo novel. emoticon

I wrote today on my train journey to university. Ok so I was meant to be studying, but I think I'm still allowed to celebrate. emoticon

The train is such a good place for writing, except when rude people talk loudly into their mobiles for half the journey like this afternoon. Grr! Actually it wasn't so bad, she gave me some ideas for an annoying character!

Yay, well done! Take inspiration wherever it can be found. emoticon

I used to plot stories on the train, but then... I'm not riding on the very often. I'm fortunate that I can walk to work.

I wrote a little last night. I had been playing on the internet and not getting anything accomplished, so when I left to go pick up my daughter I deliberatly left my story up. When I got back it was staring me in the face. So I worked on it. And it was satisfying.
