Native American Books

Hello
I personally dont read many fiction books, just the odd one or two. I used to read more of them but now somehow I tend to read more non fiction. anyway I thought I would list a few Native American books that I would recommend for anybody who is interested.

One of my favorites is Neither Wolf Nor Dog by Kent Nerburn. '' Against an unflinching backdrop of contemporary reservation life and the majestic spaces of the Western Dakotas, neither Wolf nor Dog tells the story of two men, one white and one indian, locked into their own understandings yet struggling to find a common voice.''

I also love Edd McGaa's books ( Eagle Man ) especially Nature's Way. Eagle Man was born on the Oglala Sioux reservation and he is a registered tribal member. Nature's Way is about Native Wisdom for living in Balance with the Earth.

Black Elk Speaks by John G Neihardt offers an eloquent and profound vision of the unity of all creation.

enjoy
