Xkcd
An interesting little webcomic I encountered, especially for the computer or technically adept. For anyone interested you can read it here. Or perhaps some of you already know of it?
One thing I have found amusing at time is how at times things in it seem to happen kind of in the real world, or how some sites then say that xkcd said it first.

Re: Xkcd
We used to have an xkcd link over at FA. Thanks for reviving it, I had forgotten how good the comic was.

Re: Xkcd
I read it all the time at work. I've got a bunch of the comics printed out on my office door, too.
This one gets the most attention:
XKCD: "The Difference"
(and it's so TRUE!)

Re: Xkcd
Another excellent example of a good comic:
XKCD: "Height"
There's just something about including the "Romulan Neutral Zone" in there that really cracks me up. ...And I have to admit, it also made me go, "Really? The Romalans were THAT CLOSE in Star Trek?!" But that's just me...

Re: Xkcd
*cringe* I am strongly biased against the space elevator concept. It sounds cool. It makes great science fiction. It makes TERRIBLE engineering!

Re: Xkcd
I love xkcd very, very much.
Oh no, QS got started on space elevators. Look out folks, this is one of his true loves! (Perhaps a space elevator thread?)

Will it be an ultra-light, high-strength, bucky-tube thread?

I know, QS. I was thinking it was a sort of *blah* comic until that. Then I laughed.
