Re: The good things thread
Yesterday, the gardenia I bought on Wednesday opened its first flower. (Corv, it's a new one, not the one from the office.)
As it's sitting next to my desk on the windowsill I can breathe in that lovely scent and hope it'll make me think of good things.

I am newly-focused on writing. I started working on a rewrite for Resurrection that, when I'm done, I'm actually going to start throwing around to publishers.

That's great news, hadaad! Wonderful, you go!
I had a scary dream yesterday, but when I figured out what it meant, I knew it was all right.

Re: The good things thread
Today, I made a little present for a collegue.
She wanted money for her birthday (to buy a golf club), and so I built a little golf green for her, out of a cardboard box covered with green crepe paper. It had nine "holes", with the flagpoles carrying the individual bank notes that had been donated by our department (two poles had flags that read "Happy Birthday").
I forgot to take a picture, but she loved it.

That sounds really cute, well I guess I had some visiting a friend the last few days as well, so that was good as well.

Re: The good things thread
Barely.
Today, in the new class I'm taking, I met another writer. It was rather cool to be able to discuss problems related to writing, from a psych angle.

Re: The good things thread
I thought this was a good things thread, not the bad things or creepy things thread..., or am I misunderstanding something here?

How come I didn't notice people were posting in this? Congrats QS2!
Anyways this is really for yesterday, or according to the board two days ago, but I had a good birthday!

Re: The good things thread
I'm using the leftovers as excuse to stay home today as well (here I can miss two days and still get paid without a doctor's letter).
Actually, I wouldn't be much good staring at Excel cells all day to correct old programming ...

Re: The good things thread
Good things?
Um... I have a rough idea for a NaNo project, one that doesn't require me to do anything but "write, and see where the situation takes me?" That would count, right?
