Despite the fact that the ending for my first part became the beginning of my second part, that is all done. I FINISHED THE FIRST PART! It's been in my head for 13 years and now there it is, in glorious LCD!

YAAAAAAA! emoticon

Thanks. Now I have to drag my carcass downstairs tonight and make up for last night's slackery. (I don't know if that's a word but I like it anyway.)

I stand at 48,000+ words in my NaNo novel. That means I will finish it easily tomorrow, especially as I'm just entering the climax and finale now.

I'm very happy! emoticon

42k+ but only the first 35k or so are worth a darn. I forsee a massive rewrite. My energy is waning but I'm determined to finish. Come December I'm not looking at a keyboard for a month if i can help it. emoticon

Hehehe. I know that feeling, BaneBlade!

When I did NaNo last year, I almost stopped writing for several months. On the other hand, I did write "Die arische Frau" in January, and I still think it's one of the best stories I did.

This year, I'm scaling down gradually, and I hope to keep editing and writing through December and into the next year, and never drop back to zero like I did last time.

Anyway: Very well done! emoticon

Yesterday, I booked two seminars that will complete what I want to know for my future work.

With luck, all will come together in summer of 2008.

Today, I received email from Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine that my story has reached round two in their reading rounds.

That's only the second story of mine that made it that far. I'm happy!
