Despite the fact that the ending for my first part became the beginning of my second part, that is all done. I FINISHED THE FIRST PART! It's been in my head for 13 years and now there it is, in glorious LCD!

42k+ but only the first 35k or so are worth a darn. I forsee a massive rewrite. My energy is waning but I'm determined to finish. Come December I'm not looking at a keyboard for a month if i can help it.
