An idea for a future workshop.
Someone would make a basic description, like this: Aspen trees with sparce grass beneath them. A few blue flowers scattered around. Very litte sunlight.
Then everyone would write a couple, more elaborate, descriptions, based off that, and try to set the mood different in each. Afterwards we could discuss which scenes and words worked and which didn't.
What do you think?

Re: An idea for a future workshop.
It sounds somewhat interesting, I wonder if it would work as a psychological test as well.

Haha! Probably, QS.
While I am generally against overly-abundant description in prose, I agree that this would be an interesting little test for each of us.
We could also post it as an exercise in the Practice Hall.
