Summer Vacations

Just kind of wondering if anyone will be away for the holidays? It'll be lonely here without you all, but hopefully we'll manage. emoticon

Re: Summer Vacations

I'll be here all summer, until September. Then I'm taking a week and a half off to go to the Grand Canyon. I've never been. It'll be especially nice since I'm going with my parents and, except for plane fair, they'll be footing most of the bill! For a poor grad student, that's nice indeed!

That does sound pretty neat, maybe you could make some pictures for everyone of the canyon? emoticon I'm sure we've all seen it before in images, but it might look a bit different from a more personal vantage point. emoticon

If I think about it, I will, QS. Remind me, though. I'm notoriously bad about remembering to post such things.

Re: Summer Vacations

I'm working over the traditional summer holiday period, so I'll be at home, but me and my fiance have the first two weeks in September off.

We'll probably visit his relatives for a bit. Not sure what else, I may be at home even more for a while. In September we're also going to register our notice of marriage. Which is exciting, but also pricey.

Wahhh, evil exams! Still, I guess if you make it, it will be one less worry for you. emoticon

You know, when I took my university exams, I thought those were the last exams in my life. Little did I know...

These won't be the last, I'll take EFT exams next year, too, for international certification. emoticon

My PhD exams (written AND oral, since my Uni is evil) were horrendous. Hopefully your exams won't be so bad, Firle!

And Dragonlady, congrats on the soon-to-be marriage! emoticon

My healer exam will be written and oral. Written is a 60 question multiple choice (tough one, though). I need 45 correct answers to pass. I think I can do that.

Re: Summer Vacations

Thanks Reythia. We're just glad to have booked the main things. Everything else (music, decoration, clothes, etc.) is an extra really.
At least that's what I think now. I imagine in a years time I'll feel a bit different.

Good luck with the exams Firle.

Multiple choice... *sigh* I'm jealous. I haven't had a multiple choice test since high school...

Good luck!
