I walked past a guy wearing this t-shirt in the supermarket earlier.

"CHAOS, PANIC, DISORDER...my work here is done."

Funnily enough it made me think of XN.

When you come to the edge of all the light you have known and are about to step out into the darkness, FAITH is knowing one of two things will happen... There will be something to stand on or You will be taught how to fly.

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.
Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

From an episode of "Grey's Anatomy"

"If you don't want crap, stop accepting crap and demand more"

Isn't that fantastic??

Old Inuit Song:

"I think over again
my small adventures, my fears,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.
And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:
To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world."

I like these too:

“When faith goes to market, it always takes a basket” anon

The blue of heaven is larger than the clouds

“Give what you have, to someone it may be better than you dare think” Longfellow

“The burden of suffering seems a tombstone hung about our necks, while in reality it is only the weight which is necessary to keep down the diver while he is hunting for pearls.” Richter

“Nearly all of God’s jewels are crystallized tears” anon

“The eagle that soars in the upper air does not worry itself as to how it is to cross rivers”

“Do not get discouraged; it may be the last key in the bunch that opens the door”. Stansifer

“We can never see the sun rise by looking into the west” Japanese proverb

For every evil under the sun
There is a cure, or there is none.
If there be one, try and find it;
If there be none, never mind it.

Re: Our Favorite Quotes

Ok guys and gals - I had to submit something because the # of views on this post was 6666 on Halloween night, so I HAVE to change it! LMAO SO.. here goes...

Well, it won't be but a week or two,
You'll be out lovin' someone new.
It must have happened a hundred times before.
And I can see you been spreadin' yourself thin too.
It's a lonely stage we been goin' through.
Don't get up, I can find my own way to the door.

Chorus:
Well, I can see you are an angel,
whose wings just won't unfold.
Tune up your harp; polish your old halo.
Well the only kind of gal that you ever wanted
is one that you knew you'd never hold very long.
You're sittin' there cryin' like I'm the first one to go.

Well, you may have had thirty lovers behind you.
Baby, I can feel you, but I sure can't find you.
Seems like you would have found your own self by now.
But late at night your old lovers' tears come back,
faces in your dreams, fingers in your back,
voices of the memories, cryin' out loud.

Maybe it was the n I was with. He had that t-shirt, his sister bought him. I didn't think it was funny though, it was true.
