what was lost
I remember the first time
I looked into your eyes
I would never have guessed
it was all a disguise
so full of charm
taught by the best
you took out your weapon
and aimed at my chest
you smiled as I bled
and laughed as I cried
I was so confused
were you jeykll or hyde
I guess you thought
I'd never survive
the things I found out
the stories, the lies
I was so taken
by all that you where
that I was blinded to the reality
of what had really occured
shaken and crying
it took a lot of time
but I healed, and found
what was mine
I picked myself up
from off of the floor
and silently walked
out the front door
now you are powerless
and everyone can see
the thing that I found
when i left, it was.........me
