My children have NPD step mom
Unfortunately, they have dealt with this woman for several years and they are now 17 & 15. She had a son, but he is in a home for emotionally abused children.
My ex supports this woman and we cannot even communicate. She is so controlling of everything they do when they are with her/him every other weekend. They do all the housework and are not allowed to have friends over or do homework or go to their sports. They will not speak up for themselves and want to please their father. I have tried all kinds of things, not talking about the dad/step-mom, trying to talk to them about it, trying to offer alternative solutions, trying to talk to the dad, talking to my lawyer, nothing seems to give me a solution.
I want my children to lead normal lives and be able to do things normal children do. I know she badmouths me and is very manipulative. I try to do what is best for my children, she does whatever she thinks will get the biggest rise out of everyone.
Is there anything I can do to help my children?
